Up Hatherley Children's Centre : Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Children’s Centres are places that provide and co-ordinate information and services for families with children aged 0-5.

There are already a number of Children's Centres in Gloucestershire and further centres opening soon, Hatherley being one of them. By 2010 we aim to have around 40 Children’s Centres delivering services to all children and families in Gloucestershire.

The intention is that Children’s Centre’s services become permanent mainstream community services, developed and delivered with the active involvement of parents, carers and the local community.

Hatherley will be a safe secure and stimulating environment where individual needs are catered for by qualified , experienced , professional staff.

It will be dedicated to improving outcomes for families in line with the Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme. We want every child and family to be able to:

  • Stay safe
  • Be Healthy
  • Enjoy and achieve
  • Make a positive contribution
  • Achieve economic well being
